Norma Sharara and Jeff Cardone spoke on “Hot Compliance Topics” at the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers Leadership Conference at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford Springs, PA on May 1-2, 2012.  Their presentation focused on board and senior management oversight that is required under the InterAgency Guidance on Safety and Soundness of Incentive Compensation, FDIC golden-parachute rules for banks that are (or may become) in “troubled condition,” and forthcoming Dodd-Frank guidance on executive compensation, including claw backs, and internal pay equity, as well as an update on the first year’s experiences with “say on pay” shareholder votes.
