On March 11, 2026, Esquire Financial Holdings Inc., Jericho, New York, and Signature Bancorporation, Inc., Rosemont, Illinois, entered into a merger agreement pursuant to which Esquire will acquire Signature in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $348 million.
Esquire is the holding company for Esquire Bank, National Association, which has approximately $2.4 billion in assets, with branch offices in Jericho, New York and Los Angeles, California, as well as an administrative office in Boca Raton, Florida.
Signature is the holding company for Signature Bank, which has approximately $2.0 billion in assets with operations in the Chicago metropolitan market area.
