Megan McKinney represents financial institutions and holding companies in a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, charter conversions, securities offerings, mutual holding company reorganizations, corporate and securities law, bank regulatory matters, regulatory investigations and subpoena productions, and general regulatory compliance matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McKinney was a Regulatory Analyst at FINRA’s Office of Fraud Detection and Market Intelligence where she conducted insider trading investigations following material corporate events.

Represented Standard Financial Corp. in a merger of equals transaction with Allegheny Valley Bancorp, Inc. to become Standard AVB Financial Corp. (combined institution asset size approximately $1.0 billion).
Represented Cape Bancorp, Inc. in its $208.1 million sale to OceanFirst Financial Corp.
Represented Easthampton Savings Bank and Hometown Bank in the unification of the two banks under a singular mutual holding company structure.
Represented Biddeford Savings Bank and Mechanics Savings Bank in the mutual holding company reorganization of the two banks under a singular mutual holding company structure.
Represented Marlborough Savings Bank and North Middlesex Savings Bank in the merger of the two institutions to become Main Street Bank.
